RIWI Corp.’s Research, Technology, and Intellectual Property profiled in Nature
Toronto, ON – RIWI Corp. (CSE: RIW) (the “Company” or “RIWI”) is pleased to announce that its global survey technology is today profiled in Nature, the leading scientific and technical journal in the world. The Nature article summarizes the findings of a RIWI survey of attitudes towards mental illness expressed by more than 1 million people in 229 countries and territories. The article describes how the technology has the unique ability to measure what the world thinks about vital issues or reports as fact. “Our technology introduces prediction and hypothesis testing for global survey data,” said Mr. Seeman, RIWI CEO and Founder. “The ability of organizations to understand their potential customers’ needs and concerns to improve decision-‐making is essential to organizational and business success,” said Mr. Seeman. “For example, companies can track daily or weekly projections of retail confidence everywhere in the world and make inventory adjustments and thereby avoid layoffs.” “Our approach, fully described in Nature, has no limit to its global reach. For example, it can be applied to accurately assess the effectiveness and reach of information that seeks to counter violent extremism. It can measure, in every country, the ongoing psychological impact of the horrific Paris terrorist attacks. It can track brand awareness, global or local, and monitor economic indicators in any given economy and consumer preferences from large cities to every region in China,” said Mr. Seeman. Recent data collected by RIWI showed the growing popularity of Turkey's President Erdoğan, contrary to the consensus expectations of Turkish pollsters, ahead of its November 1st election. RIWI also predicted the surprisingly positive outcome of the 2014 Irish referendum on same-‐sex marriage, in contrast to the expectations of observers and survey data collected in more traditional ways. “As more organizations recognize the global, predictive and agile elements of our survey technology they will move away from social media monitoring or online panel trackers. Organizations that care about brand or product risk and true market intelligence need to appreciate the vastly more valuable information RIWI offers – or they will be ill-‐equipped and uncompetitive,” said Mr. Seeman. “RIWI offers the accurate information and factual insights of populations wherever we seek them out and does so efficiently, effectively and reliably over any time period its customers desire,” he added. About RIWI RIWI is a global survey technology and risk measurement company using proprietary, patented methods to capture a new stream of citizen opinion and factual data in any region of the world.
